Current opportunities:

Social Media Coordinator

Do you love social media and enjoy crafting messages on various platforms?

  • Commit up to 5 hours per week to monitor social media accounts and distribute social media content when available.
  • Coordinate social media activities with active campaigns – support activities and priorities throughout the week.
  • Monitoring social media accounts and reply when appropriate or forward inquiries and questions to the BIC Communications Lead.
  • Coordinate social media strategy and content creation through the BIC Communications group.
  • Re-share relevant content from reputable sources – comment on relevant media, look to groups like BICN
  • Track audience impact through analytics¬†



  • The Social Media Coordinator Volunteer will report to the BIC Communications Lead.
  • The Social Media Coordinator Volunteer will take direction from the BIC Communication team.
  • The Social Media Coordinator Volunteer will work together with the BIC Communication team to advance the basic income conversation with the goal of influencing policy.
  • The Social Media Volunteer is not expected to attend steering committee meetings. Volunteer time is reserved for tactical support.
